Prime Minister Dr. Kenny D. Anthony and Robert Lewis left Saint Lucia today for Venezuela to represent Saint Lucia at the Inauguration Ceremony of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros.
The ceremony will take place at the Legislative Federal Palace of the National Assembly at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2011, and will be followed later that afternoon by a civic-military parade at the National Heroes Monument Promenade in the city of Caracas.
The government of Venezuela has made a plane available to Saint Lucia and the leaders of other Eastern Caribbean States to transport representatives to Venezuela to attend the ceremony.
Prime Minister Anthony will return to Saint Lucia on Saturday, April 20, 2013 to continue preparation for the 2013/2014 Budget.
