The Unicomer Group, officially trading as Courts, received the “Most Valuable Partner” award by China’s largest television manufacturer, TCL.

Courts got the reward last month during the 47th Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

This award recognises Unicomer Group as TCL’s best commercial partner in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2013.

“It is an honour to have received this recognition by TCL and the management of Unicomer Group would like to thank its associates who made this recognition possible with their efforts and commitment,” Unicomer said in a press release.

Meanwhile, TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited has announced that TCL has once again been included in the league of “Top 50 Global Consumer Electronics Brands 2013″ at the Consumer Electronics Show.

“This recognition has illustrated an ascendance of TCL’s position in the domestic market in China and the world markets, and its brand influence to the next level,” TCL said in a press release.

This is the sixth year in a row that TCL has been included in the leagues of “Top 50 Global Consumer Electronics Brands” and “Top 10 Chinese Consumer Electronics Brands.”

At the award presentation ceremony, it also received the “2013 Global Innovative Smart TV of the Year” award, the most prestigious product award of all presented at CES this year.

TCL iQIYI TV+, a joint collaboration between TCL Multimedia and Baidu’s iQIYI, also received the “Global Innovative Smart TV of the Year” award at CES this year.

This product not only provides a large amount of high-definition video content items free-of-charge, but also adopts an innovative 5-in-1 design for the remote control, a full-platform voice control technology and more, achieving an all-round breakthrough in the areas of hardware, content, functionalities and services, and providing users with a truly earth-breaking experience of Internet integration.

As of the end of December 2013, sales volume of TV+ reached over 100,000 units since its debut in just over three months, becoming one of the best-selling smart TV models in China.
