Dear Willie: A few months ago I sent you a situation about my son’s father who was my first love. He said that he wanted space, but I started hearing rumours about him and some other girl. He has admitted they had something going on. Now all of her sudden he is back at my doorstep asking me to move in with him and saying he wants to be back in my life.
Willie I am confused and need help with this situation. I am afraid of getting back into a relationship with him and the same thing repeats itself. I’d be back to phase one. I love him, but not as much as before. My trust for him has decreased immensely.
Should I forgive him and accept him back or should I kick him to the curb like he once did me? Your assistance will be appreciated.
Dear Miss: Your feelings have already answered what you already need to know. Follow your instinct and move. If your trust and love for him have dwindled why else would you regress?
Whatever problems you two were experiencing before, if he loved you he would have stayed and worked it out. I am always amazed when people use the “I want some space” line as an excuse to have an affair.
