The Government of St. Lucia and C. O Williams Construction Ltd. have extended its sympathies to the family of Mark Francis Alexander.
“At the time of his death, Mr. Alexander was employed at the site of restoration works on the Barre De Lisle. The government extends sincerest condolences to the families and friends of Mr. Alexander,” according to a government press release, which was signed by Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport Eustace Monrose.
Meantime, the management and staff of C. O Williams Construction Ltd. – the contractor of the project Alexander worked on – released a statement stating their “sincere condolences” for the “unfortunate tragedy,” which claimed the Alexander’s life on Wednesday (Mar. 26).
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of a hard-working husband and father, and would like to assure you of our moral support as you try to cope with this untimely death. May the Lord bless and comfort you in this time of grief,” the company’s release said.
