PRESS RELEASE - The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Human Services and Gender Relations announces the visit by Minister Honourable Alvina Reynolds to Soufriere on Tuesday, September 09, 2014.
Soufriere is strategic in the economic development of St. Lucia and with emerging health concerns from the residents, the Minister has decided to spend the entire day in the south-western town in order to better understand the health issues which must be addressed.
During her visit, she will be accompanied by senior officials of her ministry.
Some of the institutions which will receive her attention include the Soufriere Hospital, Fond St. Jacques Primary school and Wellness Centre as well as the Etangs Wellness Centre.
The highlight of her visit will be a Town Hall meeting with Soufriere residents at the St. Isidore RC Parish Hall from 6pm.
