PRESS RELEASE - For the past several weeks Heineken has been bringing smiles to the faces of lucky consumers- all part of the “Open Your City” under the crown promotion. This is another of Heineken’s exciting promotions that gives back to its consumers in a tangible and exciting way.
Launched here in Saint Lucia in September, the “Open Your City” promotion features six limited edition “city” bottles. They represent Shanghai, London, Rio de Janeiro, Amsterdam, New York and Berlin.
Beneath the crown of each bottle lies a city emblem representing various prizes. An Amsterdam crown represents a free Heineken, Berlin- 20 EURO, Rio- USD$20, London- £20 and Shanghai-tablets and smart phones.
For the grand prize, six New York crowns and an entry form affords consumers a chance at a VIP prize trip for an amazing all inclusive adventurous tour of New York City.
All over the island lucky Heineken consumers have already been rewarded with cash prizes and free Heineken, much to their delight. And on Friday October 10 Heineken took the action to the town of Gros Islet during the Friday Night Street Party where MC Jordan and DJ HP cranked up the “city” excitement as visitors andlocals alike, indulged in the promotion while walking away with gifts and prizes.
This past Friday October 17, the Riverbank in Micoud was the venue transformed into the Heineken city. There, the band Evalucian and top Heineken Green Synergy DJ’s entertained the crowd with some again walking away with prizes.
In the coming days a number of lucky winners will also be receiving their “Shanghai” prizes of smartphones and tablets.
The Heineken Open Your City promotion ends on October 31, 2014 and the winner of the grand prize will be announced on November 4, 2014.
