PRESS RELEASE - The Saint Lucia Football Association’s Super League Championship quarter final rounds continued on Sunday 9th Nov. 2014 with its 2nd round of qualifiers.
The 1st round of the quarter finals was postponed due to the heavy rainfall and flooding around the island but will be played on Wednesday 10th Nov. 2014 at 6pm in Soufriere.
This past Sunday 9th Nov. 2014, the SLFA’s Super League quarter final round set of matches was hosted by Soufriere at the Soufriere Mini Stadium. Mabouya Valley played V.
Fort South in the first game followed by the home team Soufriere who played Central Castries. The rain would not be the highlight of the first game, Mabouya Valley won the contest 3 – 2 knocking out V.
Fort South and Soufriere splashed away Central Castries by scoring the only goal of the game, Soufriere 1 Central Castries 0.
Wednesday’s quarter final matchups will determine who plays in the Super League Semi Finals to be played in Soufriere at the Soufriere Mini Stadium on Sunday 22ndNov. 2014, Wednesday’s matchup below:
Dennery Vs Mon Repos @ 6pm
Canaries Vs Babonneau @ 8pm
SLFA’s Super League Championship Finals will be showcased on the 30th Nov. 2014 in Soufriere.
