PRESS RELEASE - The Micoud Youth and Sports Council is having a grand dance at The Limelight on The Micoud Highway.
The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the completion of the changing room facility on the playing field. As it stands several business men in the community have come on board to help the council raise the necessary funds for this purpose.
This venture, being the dance held under the title “Rub A Dub Dub Two Schools in a Club” will give the youth an opportunity to showcase their talents, through Djing and Dance off competitions, with new popular songs, NEW SCHOOL as well as OLD SCHOOL music.
On this Saturday December 06, the grand fundraiser will be held at the Limelight from 9pm. The entrance fee is $10.
We expect this activity to serve a dual role of providing entertainment for the youth whilst keeping them positively engaged in using their talents and creativity, as well as raising the necessary funds for the completion of the changing room facility.
