Tourism Director Louis Lewis welcomes participants to Saint Lucia
To date all 49 vessels in the 2014 ARC+ have arrived safely on Saint Lucia.
Last evening (December 7) an official welcome ceremony was held for participants in the IGY Rodney Bay Marina.
The ceremony was addressed by Tourism Director Louis Lewis, Andrew Bishop of World Cruising Club and Simon Bryan of IGY.
These ARC+ vessels will be routed to Marigot Bay in order make way for the over 170 vessels in the traditional ARC, of which 11 boats have arrived.
A prize-giving ceremony for the ARC+ is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10.
