Belle Ange
Meet Whitney Abisique aka Belle Ange.
She is a vibrant and talented 13-year-old student of the Gros Islet Secondary School, who is highly passionate about music and intends to take it to an international level.
Her vocals are exceptional and have placed her second and third at two Youth Fest Caribbean competitions, and first in a national schools singing competition.
Belle Ange was discovered at Youth Fest 2012 by Saint Lucia’s only female dancehall artiste Iaeshaa, who wrote the song ‘Spon Dance’ and video script, as well as directed and sponsored the video.
Iaeshaa also gave Abisique the stage name, Belle Ange, which means ‘beautiful angel’.
