PRESS RELEASE - The Ministry of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport opened the newly constructed Bois d’Orange Bridge to the full flow of traffic on Tuesday, Dec. 9, following the official opening ceremony.

As such, the Ministry wishes to remind commuters that the Bois d’Orange bypass, used to divert traffic during the period of construction of the bridge, will no longer be in use, and that traffic will return to the original flow through the bridge.

Traffic signs indicating NO ENTRY into the bypass for traffic flowing south bound and NO THROUGH ROAD from the Corinth end of the bypass will be clearly visible and should be adhered to at all times.

The Corinth bypass bridge near Computer World will continue to be in use to facilitate traffic flow through Corinth/Grand Riviere.

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport thanks everyone—including residents and business owners within the vicinity of the works—for their patience and cooperation during the period of construction of the Bois d’Orange Bridge.
