PRESS RELEASE - Stratosphere Muzic artiste Ricky T continues to represent Saint Lucia with distinction overseas.
Over the last two weeks the artiste had the Saint Lucian flag flying high during a series of concerts spanning from Dominica to London and the United States.
Ricky T was well received by fans and music lovers in the UK where he was featured at an event on February 14, 2015.
Days later the Soca Ambassador traveled to the Nature Isle Dominica for that country`s Carnival where he made a big splash.
Infact the band Mercury named a section “Bad Company” after Ricky T`s song which is a collaboration with Trinidadian artiste Shurwayne Winchester.
The Tissel as he is popularly known, then jetted off to the United States for a string of concerts in New York City.
He was the headliner at “Unity Fete” which was staged in celebration of Saint Lucia`s 36th Independence Anniversary on February 20, 2015.
Ricky T had the attendees in a frenzy as a delivered an energetic performance of hit singles including Mass Attack, 40 Days and 40 Nights and Pressure Boom.
The following day, Ricky T was the guest of the Saint Lucia Consulate and the Saint Lucia Association in New York at the 36th Anniversary Independence Gala Dinner at Grande Prospect Hall in Brooklyn.
Ricky T was pleased to perform at the event at no charge to the organisers, as part of his commitment to give back and support the development of Saint Lucia.
In a brief statement the Stratosphere Muzic artiste apologized to fans and supporters for not being home to celebrate our country’s 36th Anniversary of Independence, but assured that he was keeping busy representing The Helen of The West abroad.
Ricky T said quote “Reaching out to fans overseas, St. Lucians and people of other nations so that they get a real feel of what St. Lucian Soca Music is really about”unquote.
Up next Ricky T travels to Texas on Friday February 27 where he will headline a Saint Lucian Celebration.
