On National Day, December 13, Jèté, the national dance programme, hosted their quarterfinals at the Baywalk Shopping Mall with their African dance theme.
The event attracted hundreds of spectators, family members and supporters.
The dance crews came from all over the island — from Vieux fort, Genuine Edition, N Vogue, 8-6, Masqueraders; from Dennery, Onyx; from Gros Islet, RADTP, Dance Xpressions SLU, En de Dance; from Corinth, Total HD; from Canaries, Twisted;
and the Castries/Bexon/Babonneau area, Zero Gravity, New Stars, Cam Dancers, MJ Dancers, New Stars New Generation and Unique Freaks. Every crew was anxious and came prepared to compete in full African costume. They all brought their best and the judges were pleased with their efforts.
