The Royal St. Lucia Force is now mourning the loss of one of their colleagues.
SPC 4 Calvin Stanley Louis of Piaye, Laborie was killed Christmas Eve night after a wall fell on him in Vieux Fort. Reports are that he was trying to help some people stranded by the heavy rains when the freak accident occurred.
Louis, also known as Headley, was a Special Services Unit (SSU) officer operating in Vieux Fort.
At the time of his death, he was reportedly in plain clothes and off duty. He also did security work for a gas station in Vieux Fort town.
