A four-vehicle accident in the south of the island this evening, April 19 has left at least three people nursing minor injuries.
Reports reaching St. Lucia News Online are that a van and a car collided on the Laborie Highway, injuring three people – a male and two females – who are now hospitalised in stable condition.
Two other vehicles were also involved in the accident which caused a backup of traffic stretching all the way to Black Bay and Vieux Fort town.
The incident happened just after the Augier gap, next to Glory Cedar Bar on the Laborie Highway.
The vehicles involved in the accident were an old Toyota Hilux van (registration number TA2015), a Toyota Corolla motor car (PE6970) and an Altezza car (PJ4040).
The van received extensive damages.
