The Police Marine Unit is currently searching for a missing man at Pigeon Point, close to the Gros Islet beach.
A team responded immediately, after police received a report at 5:00p.m today, August 11.
According to reports, the man was consuming alcohol on the beach. He later went by himself to snorkel.
After realising that he was missing for hours, his friends decided to make a report to the police.
Persons who can snorkel are assisting the police in the search.
