PRESS RELEASE - The Micoud Youth and Sports Council (MYSC), in collaboration with Tropical Solar wraps up the year 2014 with the greatly anticipated ‘Glo-Sho’Knockout Football Tournament!
Eight (8) teams will battle for supremacy in an action packed one leg football knockout competition.
The juniors amongst the youth of Micoud (under 17 years) are expected to take center stage as they are the focus of this competition held in recognition of the theme ‘Nurturing and Molding the Young Ones; Embracing our Own’.
On the line for this tournament are the coveted bragging rights in the village of Micoud, numerous individual awards and a grand cash price for the ‘Glo Sho’ Champions and Cup!
Action kicks off at 5pm on Sunday November 30th the main event of the night, features the MYSC 2014 Football League defending champions Dynamic Fresh Ones (DFO), backed up by their young protégé Ryi Maryat with the title of St. Lucia Junior Footballer of the year 2014 and Captain of St.Lucia Under 17 Team under his belt coming up against the defiant Up Rising in what promises to be a heated encounter.
The competition will be intense and talent and skill of the highest caliber is sure to be on display. It is expected to be the most exciting football competition in Micoud for the year.
