PRESS RELEASE – The Tet Paul Nature Trail Management Committee and the community of Chateau Belair is extremely happy and proud to announce that the Tet Paul Nature Trail located in Chateau Belair, a quarter of Soufriere, reopened for business on October 29th, 2014.
The trail which features some of the most spectacular views of St. Lucia’s iconic Pitons closed in July as a result of a dispute between the former manager, the Soufriere Regional Development Foundation and one of the land owners.
It is now managed under a new management structure which comprises the site’s landowners and representation from the community of Chateau Belair.
“We are ecstatic at the reopening of the trail. We are extremely confident in the new management structure. This new structure facilitates community participation at all levels which is a fundamental tenet of Community Based Tourism and a dream of the founders of the site. We promise our industry partners that our service will be top class.
We hope that all of our previous suppliers will continue to sell and recommend Trip Advisors number one attraction in Soufriere’ to their clients.
We look forward to taking our visitors on the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ this Holiday Season and into 2015”, pronounced Jimmy Haynes, the Tet Paul Nature Trail Coordinator.
